The GFWC-Big Rapids women held a delightful ladies' night out on Thursday, October 28th at Artworks to benefit Artworks Children's programs and the Meceola Currie Comfort Home. A bountiful collection of purses, jewelry, and accessories was beautifully displayed to entice the most discriminating shopper to take home a few treasures and contribute to a great cause. Over $1,200 was collected for the two charities.Many hands made light work with members gathering and donating items, preparing food, setting up, working during the sale, or cleaning up afterward.
